Images From my Trip to Wien (Vienna)
Photos in Album: 54
While visiting Wien I stayed at the Hotel Mercure Secession in an apartment unit. This hotel is very centrally located and the service was excellent.
These are photos I took of Schoenbrunn Palace. This was the summer palace for the Hapsburg family. It was intended to be a copy of Versaille but larger, except even the Hapsburgs couldn't afford to do so. It has, however, over 1400 rooms and was one of the most opulently furnished palaces that I have visited. These photos are of the right-hand side of the palace.
These pictures are of the front courtyard and entrance to the palace.
This is the right hand side of the palace again, as you would see it when walking to the back of the palace.
These are photos from the back of the palace.
This is the maze.
And this is a view of the labyrinth as seen from the maze.
And this is the roman ruins that unfortunately were under construction when I visited.
And these are pictures of me at the palace.
